BENNETT — Sam Adams, a Rocky Mountain News columnist and Fox Sports Anchor is headlining a benefit comedy tour. The Big Time, Small Town Comedy Tour ’08 features Adams with guest Stephanie McHugh, a Nick at Nite Funniest Mom in America Finalist. The show starts at 7 p.m., Friday, May 16, in the Bennett School Auditorium.
Cost is $6 per person and the show is for adults ages 18 and up. Tickets are available at the Bennett Elementary School office and the door. Proceeds will be shared by Bennett Elementary PTSA and the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
PomZ dancers plan
end of year occasion
BENNETT — The PomZ Intensity Dance Team is holding an End of the Year Dance for all I-70 Corridor middle school students.
This lockdown dance is from 6-9 p.m., Friday, May 16, at the Bennett Community Center (originally scheduled for Bennett VFW). Admission is $5 per person at the door.
All eighth-graders continuing on to high school will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a $20 Wal-Mart gift card (school ID required). For information, contact Karen Terry (303)644-5583.
Charter school sets
open house, K-Day
Corridor Community Academy will host an open house for grades K-8, including kindergarten roundup, from 1-6 p.m., Thursday, May 15.
Information about CCA will be available as will screenings for kindergartners.
